This isn’t exactly a recipe but rather a reminder of what to include on a Mediterranean style platter. The ingredients are more a list of "suggestions". Keep jars of ingredients in your pantry and you can pull together a spectacular platter with very little effort.
Serve with homemade pita bread baked on a pizza stone in the BBQ at 500° F (see Breads section).
For the local Winnipeg crowd, do NOT use Greek Market hummus. As fantastic as it is, it is too runny and you are left with a bit of a goopy mess. In this pic I have used Costco "Humm" brand - thick enough to form the ever so important “dam” around the tzatziki!!
